Applying a code on the Temu app

Add everything you plan to buy to the basket first. Minimum spend is calculated on the finished basket, not on the item you started with.
Tap Checkout. The promo field does not appear in the basket view.
Scroll to Promo code or Coupon code, just above the payment method.
Paste the code and tap Apply.
Confirm the order total changed before you pay. A confirmation message is not proof the discount landed.

Applying a code on the Temu website

Open the basket and select Checkout.
Find the order summary panel on the right-hand side.
Open Apply coupon and paste the code into the field.
Select Apply, then re-read the order total.

The four checks that fix most rejected codes

Whitespace. A code copied from a screenshot or chat often carries an invisible space. Use the copy button on this site instead.
Minimum spend. Coupon bundles split into several vouchers, each with its own threshold.
One promotion per order. Remove any coupon Temu applied automatically, then re-apply yours and compare the totals.
Account eligibility. Codes badged for new users will not apply to an account with order history, no matter how many times you retry.

What to do when nothing works

Work down the board above rather than retrying one code. A percentage code, a coupon bundle and a free-gift code are governed by different rules, so one frequently applies where another fails. If all three are rejected on the same basket, the most likely explanation is a regional restriction, and the fastest fix is to check back after the board is next re-verified.
